Terms of Service and Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 7, 2026
Welcome to Sickle Cell Coach at https://sicklecellcoach.com, operated by Ebony Maynard (“Sickle Cell Coach,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, digital products, educational materials, and online coaching services, including the Sickle Cell Wellness Blueprint™ (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account or purchasing Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not complete your registration or purchase.
1. Educational and Coaching Services
Sickle Cell Coach provides digital education and online wellness coaching. Services may include recorded lessons, downloadable resources, live online sessions, and educational support, as described in the offer you purchase.
The program description and checkout information identify what your purchase includes, its price, the access period, and any applicable scheduling requirements. Do not assume that a purchase includes services or ongoing support beyond those expressly described.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Our Services are provided for educational and informational purposes. They do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Purchasing a course or participating in educational coaching does not, by itself, establish a healthcare provider-patient relationship. Any separately offered clinical care requires its own eligibility review, consent, and service agreement.
Continue working with your treating healthcare professionals. Consult them before changing medications, supplements, nutrition, physical activity, or other aspects of your care. Do not stop or delay prescribed treatment because of information provided through the Services.
We do not guarantee that any strategy discussed is appropriate for your individual medical circumstances.
The website and coaching channels are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored. For a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
3. No Guarantee of Results
Individual experiences and outcomes vary. We do not promise or guarantee improvements in symptoms, prevention of sickle cell crises, reduced hospital visits, or any particular health outcome.
Testimonials and participant experiences illustrate individual results and do not establish what you should expect.
4. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Services and enter into this agreement. A parent or legal guardian must arrange and authorize any participation involving a minor, subject to our acceptance and applicable program requirements.
You agree to provide accurate registration and billing information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your account and purchased access are for your personal use and may not be shared, transferred, or resold without our written permission.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices, applicable taxes, and payment terms are disclosed before purchase. By purchasing, you authorize the charges shown at checkout using your selected payment method.
If you choose an installment plan, it divides the total purchase price into scheduled payments. Unless the offer expressly states otherwise, an installment plan is not a cancel-anytime subscription. Choosing not to participate does not cancel the remaining installments, subject to applicable law and Section 6 below.
If a recurring subscription is offered, its billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed before enrollment. Cancellation stops future renewals according to those disclosed terms but does not ordinarily refund charges already paid.
We may suspend paid access for overdue payments after notifying you and providing an opportunity to resolve the issue.
6. Refund Policy: All Sales Final
All sales of our digital products, educational programs, and online coaching services are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or a decision not to participate, except where required by law or expressly stated in a written offer provided before purchase.
This policy applies to individual purchases, program packages, and installment plans. Subject to the exceptions below, refunds are not provided because you:
Do not access, download, or complete the materials.
Miss or choose not to attend coaching sessions.
Experience scheduling conflicts or changes in personal circumstances.
Decide the program is unsuitable after purchase.
Do not achieve your desired results.
Please review the program description, participation requirements, access period, and price before purchasing.
Billing Errors, Access Problems, and Services Not Delivered
This policy does not exclude remedies required by applicable law, including remedies for unauthorized or duplicate charges or our failure to provide the Services as agreed.
Contact us promptly about billing errors or access problems. We will investigate and, as appropriate, correct the charge, restore access, provide the missing service, or issue any refund required by law.
If we cancel a purchased program or coaching service and cannot provide it as agreed, we will offer an appropriate remedy, including a refund for the undelivered portion where required by law. You are not required to accept a substitute service instead of a refund to which you are legally entitled.
Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us so we can address concerns promptly. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to raise a legitimate dispute with your card issuer, payment provider, or a consumer protection authority.
7. Coaching Scheduling and Participation
Coaching availability, session duration, booking procedures, and any rescheduling requirements will be provided with the applicable program.
You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions and meeting participation requirements. Missing a session does not create a right to a refund. Any make-up session is subject to the program’s disclosed scheduling terms and availability.
If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will notify you and arrange an alternative. If we cannot deliver the purchased service, Section 6 applies.
8. Digital Access and Technical Requirements
You are responsible for having a compatible device, reliable internet connection, and the software needed to access the Services.
Access begins as described in your purchase confirmation or program information. Access duration is governed by the offer you purchase. We do not promise lifetime access to the online platform unless expressly stated.
Resources made available for download may be retained for your personal use, subject to the intellectual property restrictions below.
Temporary outages, maintenance, and third-party platform interruptions may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to address problems affecting delivery of purchased Services.
9. Intellectual Property
Our course materials, videos, recordings, worksheets, graphics, text, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your purchase grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the purchased materials for your personal, noncommercial education during the applicable access period.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, publicly display, or use our materials to create competing products without written permission. You may not record coaching sessions or redistribute session recordings without permission.
These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.
10. Conduct and Participant Privacy
You agree not to misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, share account access, harass others, or post unlawful content.
During group coaching or community participation, respect other participants’ privacy. Do not record, screenshot, publish, or share another participant’s personal information or disclosures without their permission.
We cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality. Share only information you are comfortable discussing in a group setting.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the violation. Any payment or refund consequences remain subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prohibits honest reviews or lawful complaints about our Services.
11. Privacy and Communications
Our separate Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. Please review it before registering or purchasing.
Avoid submitting sensitive medical information through public comments or group discussions. If information is needed for a separately arranged clinical service, follow the designated intake procedures for that service.
We may send administrative communications about your account, purchases, access, scheduling, and changes affecting the Services. Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
12. Third-Party Platforms and Resources
We use third-party providers, including Thinkific and payment processors, to deliver parts of the Services. Your use of their features may also be subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Links to external resources are provided for convenience. We do not control their content or availability, and a link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to that claim.
These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If applicable law does not permit a limitation, that limitation will not apply.
14. Changes to Services and These Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively. They will not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase or materially reduce purchased Services without your agreement or an appropriate remedy.
Where required, we will provide notice or obtain your agreement before a material change takes effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
16. Severability
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
